My Science Journey

I learned how to build a rubber band boat and how to harness the power of the rubber band and I even learned the Science behind the rubber band an it's involved in newtons three laws.

It was hard to keep my boat all together because trough my Journey there where many mishaps like on the way me Sloan separated from a team to a loner it was hard to maintain my boat because lots of parts snapped melted and crumbled.

It was easy to get the Propeller and I'm not talking about the two sticks that keep in place I'm talking about the thing that spins that was super easy to figure it out and there was only one mishap with it.

Next time I am going to spend more time focusing on my buddy skills because I was a big control freak and tend to take over that's how I lost Sloan as my buddy and I do not regret being Sloans buddy.

That is how my Science journey went it was hard , difficult  and some of it easy.

 

Battery Powered Car

  In science we did the battery powered car.It was hard to build it and screw in the tiny screws because the screws kept slipping of the screwdriver.

It was easy to build the wheels and engine  so it could move but it didn't really work.

Next time I will work more cooperative with my group  because everyone wasn't communicating with everyone else.

Getting Brainy with the Brainbox (sound experiment)

 In science we experimenting with the Brainbox.

 It was hard to make the experiment because every time we tried wasn't working but the third try we got it make a little sound.

It was easy to build the structure of the experiment because their was four of us.

Next time  I will probably pick an easier experiment like the fan and also our group sould all of the right surplice because  we didn't get the same batteries. 

The Time For Me To Shine

Hi this is my piece of creative writing. We were learning to have obsessive description when I was writing this so it feels like you in my story with me and comment if it was like that. It was extremely hard to find a background I had a robot running but it looked awkward. So then I got a animated guy running but Toby said it would be distracting. So changed it into Olympic people running and that turned out well.It was easy to write the real piece of writing because I am pretty good at describing.Next time I will create a larger piece of recount writing and to make make it more describing of how I feeled Bye bye.

 

Google Earth

 Hello  this is my Google Earth slide.

 I did find it hard to move around like in country areas  and to find places I can go or otherwise it says this "no street data available".  it was also hard to find my house because my house is on an intersection and their  is also other intersection very close to mine so I got mixed up.

I found it easy to have fun and to learn at the same time. I explored all the the different roads in Google Earth like Las Vegas,New Zealand and Africa .

 Next time I will add slides that explain how I felt and what I found in Google Earth that are odd or weird.

Crab persuasive writing

  this is "convince my Mom to let me have a pet Crabs" persuasive writing  and the reason I made piece of writing because I want my Mom let me have pet Crabs and the reason I want pet crabs is because I want to study then observe them for my career and also there so cool I did find it hard to find facts that would probably convince my Mom.Into giving me permission to have pet Crabs.It was super easy to finish quickly enough to show her before bella (my sister) to start other maths activity.Next time I will definitely make it like at least two or three sentences longer so thats my Crab persuasive writing.

Mom if we get a pet crab you won’t worry that it will die straight away because they live three to four years

we will also give then bait fish to eat and we can also earn more money because mud crabs have up to 2

million egg when they hatch will put them in a separate jar then when they get bigger we will sell then 50

cents each and you will get 50% of the money to so we have fun while you get over ten dollars also also

we can feed the babies worms because they like them also with the money we get we will get more jars to raise more mud crabs that means you get more money so its a win win and also I can use the other

fridge to keep them damp.

Pop art evolution

 Hi everyone I am out of lockdown in bubble school this is me and Archies Pop art! evolution its absolutely incredible its beautiful  it is awesomesauce. It was  easy to get all the screenshots of the pop art. It was hard to find him although it was challenging to find go to neon backgrounds of animals. And next time I will add more pop art in the slide and I will make them. Also the mandarin duck is the most reset one I have done. Bye everyone.

Spring poem

 Hello reader you remember me Carter just  keeping you updated of what I'm doing over the short lockdown I'm in.So this is my fun colourful piece of a spring acrostic poem so I found it really easy like really easy to find sentences for my colourful spring acrostic poem because I usually do a lot of things in spring with my kind Mom like planting flowers and also my birthday is in spring so spring is a big thing for our family and found kinda hard to find colourful flower background because only take the best backgrounds I mean take a look at my Olympic values medel Click here  that's a good looking background.Maybe just Maybe next time I will make my sentences a lot longer and detailed.So bye PEACE.

The Incredible ..... Olympic Values!!!!

 Hello I'm Carter and these are prized possessions the Olympic Values!! medals that are excellence friendship and respect and also in other words... they are  awesome sauce  yeah they are perfeto evan the podem looks great I mean take a look the wooden boards it looks connected but they are separate Images I bashfully found this task kind of easy peasy lemon squeezy but the most easiest thing in the whole task was probably was choosing the background which is polished wood by the way I if you choosing a background this is one of the easiest chooses I mean it's simple but it looks good and I didn't find anything really challenging while doing this task but I still found something hard witch was getting lined up in the middle of the larger circle next time I should probably add a  red white and blue neck piece and maybe put some diamonds  or rubies and emeralds around the edges of the medals so that is what I found easy and hard and also what should add on next time and just being curious would  you enjoy this task comment your answer on my blog? 

Egg in a Cup

 What did you learn we learned about Inertia Newton's first  law when something is moving it wants to keep no moving and the experiment today that involved Inertia was the egg drop and trust me this experiment was eggcellent. 

What did you enjoy I enjoyed getting better at getting egg in the cup eggcourages you to keep on going.

What was challenging it was challenging to keep the water from messing and believe me really this eggperiment  is awesome.

What was easy the instructions where easy to follow but getting the egg into the cup was definitely the easiest thing in the whole experiment because I have great hand coordination and good aim.      

What will you do next time I'll probably try to crack less eggs so their a less of a mess to clean up.

COOL AIR

 We were leaning about  endothermic reaction in science last week.

I observed that in the jumbo sized experiment of it was a lot more powerful because it flowed into the balloon.

Next time I wonder will it have a bigger reaction or smaller reaction or will be just as strong as the jumbo sized experiment.

Balloon Rocket!!!

 We were learning about Newton's third law When their is a action there is a equal and opposite reaction. 

I observed when the air out backward it propels forward also that it would go forward a couple  cm   then it would spin around.

Next time I will  try doing two balloons with my science group maybe it will go further.

 

Persuasive Writing Recount

 I found it easy to find awesome backgrounds to add to my slides I also found it easy to get my words to match the background.

I enjoyed decorating each and everyone so it looks excrodenry  and that includes the background the font the colours too.  

I  found it hard to get all the spelling mistakes fixed was difficult because when I finished  one of slides spelling mistakes their was more to do.

Next time I will try and fit more paragraphs in one slide so I don't need to have 4 or 5 slides to fit my paragraphs in and it would help me with the spelling mistake problem 

Colour Explosion

 I found it easy to get the colours that me and my science buddy to use for this awesome experiment.

I enjoyed watching the colours move away from the cotton bud it was also really satisfying too.

I found hard was to get the cotton bud thickly covered with soap so my buddy and me could do the experiment and it was super messy.

Next time I will try and get more colours to put in my colour changing milk like pink.

LAVA LAMP!!

 At science we learnt about that the Oil rises to the top is because oil is lighter then water.The reason the bubbles were rising and dropping when the bubbles were rising because they releasing Carbon dioxide and when the bubbles were dropping they were getting  more Cordon dioxide to bring to the surface.

BATH BOMB !!!

At science we learnt about that the When a bath bomb comes in contact with water, the baking soda and citric acid react to make carbon dioxide bubbles. This is an acid–base reaction, where baking soda (also called sodium bicarbonate) is a weak base and citric acid is a weak acid.

Sunflower

 What were you learning about? I was learning how to personify a sunflower in a poem.

What did you enjoy? I enjoyed decorating the slide so it would look decent.

What was challenging? I found it challenging to gett the poem correct because I was writing it more like a story so it didn't sound like a poem.

What was easy? It was easy to get the writing and publishing it on the slide was really easy.

What will you do next time? Next time I'll try to make it rhyme because I think poems that rhyme.

Horouta Waka

 What were you learning about the Horouta waka and the journey.

What did you enjoy I enjoyed making animation in class it is Te reo.

What was challenging I found it hard to get the audio on the slide.

What was easy I found it easy to link the bird sounds on the slide.

What will you do next time make the animation longer .
